The automotive industry is navigating four simultaneous structural transitions — EV, distribution, retail, and software — in markets where execution complexity is increasing and senior execution capacity is declining. The standard consulting model was not designed for this.

Sebastian Bachmann founded at.Pointe after 17 years inside automotive and industrial organisations across APAC, MEA, and Europe — at OEM level, importer level, and retail transformation level. He has led strategy mandates across China, Korea, Germany, Southeast Asia, and the UAE, with a specific focus on EV market entry, omnichannel transformation, dealer network restructuring, and distribution architecture.

The founding thesis of at.Pointe is that the most valuable consulting in automotive is not methodology delivery — it is judgment formed from being inside the decisions that matter. Sebastian built at.Pointe to offer that from an independent position, without OEM affiliation or conflicted mandate.

Alongside the advisory practice, Sebastian runs at.Pointe Research — analysis covering the transformation economy at the intersection of automotive strategy, emerging market dynamics, and investment implications.

Sebastian also works in partnership with Starteffekt, contributing commercial and market expertise to their AZAV-certified founder coaching programmes in Germany. Based in Singapore. Operating globally.
